4 hour Naxos: History, Culture, and Local Cuisine

Our tour begins in the charming village of Eggares, where we visit a traditional Olive Press Museum, one of the oldest on Naxos, offering a glimpse into the island’s olive oil heritage. We then head to Melanes to admire the impressive Kouros of Flerio, an ancient marble statue standing nearly six meters tall. Passing through Kinidaros, famous for its marble quarries, we continue to the historic Panagia Drosiani Monastery, home to some of the oldest murals in the Balkans.
We finish in the picturesque village of Chalki, visiting the Vallindras Citrus Distillery and enjoying a stroll through its charming alleys before savoring local dishes and a traditional dessert at a cozy village tavern.
